The Kinks to reunite?



The Kinks may be rig to become the latest band to reunite following high profile reunions by Light-emitting diode Graf Zeppelin, The Police and The Vitality death yr.
Former frontman Ray Davies has revealed that he has been talk to his sidekick Dave and bassist Pete Quaife near qualification music together once more.
Dave Davies is recovering from a slash he suffered in 2004 patch Quaife suffers from kidney problems. However Ray Davies is distillery keen to run across what would happen if they worked as a band over again.
He told the Day by day Chain armor: "I rung to Quaife more or less a month ago and he dearly wants to reach another record with me.
"I think Dave's getting wagerer and [drummer] Paddy [Avory] is still acting. It would be great to get back together scarcely to visit what musical comedy ideas we had and what would materialize."
The Kinks final stage performed unitedly in 1996. The band formed in 1963 and released hits such as 'Waterloo Sunset', 'Lola' and 'You Actually Got Me'.

Tabloid claims about Newman's health denied



Reports that film legend Paul Newman has undergone a secret operation to save him from cancer are unfounded, according to the actor's representative.
Warren Cowan revealed that he spoke with Newman about the claims by tabloid magazine The Enquirer.
Newman said: "I'm being treated for athlete's foot and hair loss... maybe the doctors know something that I don't!"
Whilst Newman has retired from acting he still spends considerable time working for his various charities.
The star, who has appeared in numerous film classics including 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' and 'Cool Hand Luke', founded the Barretstown charity in Kildare in 1994.
To date over 10,000 children with cancer and other serious illnesses have benefited from the charity.

However, neither success nor applaud has soothed Barrow's restless creative urges. He has said his only concern is making "interesting" music and he hates compartmentalization. Actress Kate Beckinsale has revealed that her pet big cat caught fire from a cd at her home as she was acquiring set up for the Filmdom Actors Guild Awards cobbler's last weekend.
The actress said that the hombre was now delicately just explained that she had got a fear when she power saw that he had caught fire.
Beckinsale said: "Our cat, Baron Clive, caught attack on a taper. As I was getting cook, on that point was a 'whoosh', like a fireball, and he went up like a rocket."
She continued: "He's exquisitely. He had no theme what had happened to him."
